Gladstone is most well known for the vehicle accessible Texas Creek campground. This family oriented campground provides excellent camping, and a safe swimming area with several pocket beaches that provide great opportunities for privacy and quiet moments.

Gladstone Park also has several marine accessible campsites and back country hiking trails. These sites are extremely rustic but are located on beautiful sandy beaches and are excellent for the avid outdoor family. View this park's location map to see what cities are nearby.

Texas Creek Campground Features:

  • Park Size: 39,387 hectares
  • Total # Campsites: 63 vehicle accessible campsites including 7 double sites
  • Reservations: Yes (Campsites #8 - #53)
  • First Come First Serve Sites: Yes (Campsites #1-#5, #52 and #54 - #63)
  • Campsite Description: Most of the sites are large, shaded and private. The double sites are medium to small in size. The numerous trees may make backing into some sites difficult but most are easily accessed. Each has own picnic table and fire ring. Suitable for both RV’s and tents. Sites are gravel.
  • Overflow Camping: Yes (full fees apply, no tents permitted)

  • Marine Sites: 8 rustic sites accessible by boat, 2 are accessible on foot located at North end of Christine Lake.

  • First Come First Serve Sites: Yes
  • Campsite Description: Very rustic campsites located off the beach with no amenities except for a pit toilet and some picnic tables. Accessible by boat from Texas Creek boat launch.
  • Pit Toilets: Yes
  • Drinking Water: No
  • Campfires Permitted: Yes, unless fire ban in effect (see Important Notices)
  • Firewood Available: No, must bring own
  • Pets Allowed: Yes, on a leash at all times
  • Dog Beach: Yes, in designated area only
  • Check-In Procedure: Locate and occupy if vacant. Park operator will register and collect fees on rounds.
  • Check-Out Time: 11 am
  • On Site Security: No, limited to when Park operator makes rounds
  • Garbage Disposal: Pack in – Pack out policy

Camping & Other Park Act Fees:

  • $15.00 per party per night (includes 1 vehicle or RV) at Texas Creek Campground
  • $7.50 BC Senior couple discount (after Labour Day to June 14 only)
  • $7.50 per Additional Vehicle per night
  • $10.00 per party or vessel per night for Marine campsite and Backcountry Camping

All Reservations must be paid per MasterCard or Visa Credit Card

First come first serve Camping and all Additional Vehicle Fees MUST pay with CASH and/or Traveller’s Cheques. Debit & Credit Cards and Personal Cheques are NOT accepted.
