A popular family-oriented destination park, Fintry Provincial Park includes 360 hectares of the former Fintry Estate, a heritage site with a colourful history and over 2 km of waterfront with surrounding mountains and deep canyons. Visitors can hike the Shorts Creek Canyon, wander past the heritage buildings, or relax on the beach and enjoy swimming and other water sports in Okanagan Lake. The Park is located approx 34 kms north of Kelowna or 49 kms south of Vernon, BC.
The Groupsites are very popular and should be reserved well in advance. Reservations for individual Campsites are also highly recommended during the summer months and for all long weekends. However, even during the summer, several Campsites are set aside for first come first serve but they can be snapped up quickly. During the spring and fall, ALL campsites are available on a first come first serve basis and a reservation is usually not necessary.
